Our Style

We believe that capturing love authentically requires an intimate understanding of it. Together, we have had the honor of experiencing real love, loss and the power of human connection. Our style was born from these experiences to be truthful and beautiful. Our style is authentic and candid with an editorial twist that beats time at it's own game.

Our Story

We met over a decade ago as friends, little did we know that our paths would intertwine in the most beautiful way. After A LOT of highs and a few lows of long-distance love.. We decided to take the leap and trade life as we knew it for an entirely new and exciting one, together. Silk & Stone is an ode to the merging of two elements, like us. Like all of us in love.

Our Method

We're alexandra + Matthew. husband and wife. wildly adventurous, video gamers and fitness enthusiasts that love midnight snacks a little too much.

With the laser-pointed vision of gallery directors, we work alongside our couples to craft images that are seamlessly editorial — brimming with genuine affection, breathtaking sceneries, and candid moments (with the direction they need to achieve the photos they want) We are endlessly inspired by the interplay of light, and we view weddings as intricate, exuberant, and stylishly emotional festivities that continually captivate our hearts.
